This site is written mostly "by hand" in the specialised freeware
html/text editor "Matrix
Y2K".
Web creation programmes are used in only a limited way in some pages.
The files are usually uploaded to the website by the
File Transfer Programme called "WS_FTP" available from Ipswitch.
The main site resides in a web area provided by Island Webservices Internet Service provider.
The Uniform Resource Locator "www.iprofs.org" is a pointer registered with Nominet which points to this web site.
Tables are generated automatically from an Access database using
software from dbQuikSite .

Photo Albums are generated from ACDSee photo management programme as html albums.
This was found to be the quickest and easiest of a number of programs which will do this.
The password device used to be a Java applet from
Coffeee Cup Software company. This has now been changed to a server option which password
protects an area of the server side directory structure - much easier and more secure.
